Recipe - Slow Cooker
Beef in Red Wine Gravy
1 1/2 lb beef stew meat, cut into 1-inch cubes
1 large onion, chopped
2 beef bouillon cubes
1 small can of sliced mushrooms
3 Tbsp cornstarch
salt and pepper to taste
3/4 cup red wine
3/4 cup water
4 cups uncooked egg noodles
In slow cooker, place beef and onion. Add bouillon cubes and mushrooms. Sprinkle cornstarch salt and pepper over beef and onion. Pour red wine and water over beef mixture.
Cover; cook on low setting for 10 to 12 hours or on high for 5 to 6 hours.
Serve over egg noodles.
