Chicken in Cheddar Wine Sauce over Rice Recipe
1 cup milk
2 Tbsp plus 2 tsp flour
2oz cheddar cheese
1 lb chicken tenderloins
1 can swanson chicken broth
1/2 cup white wine
In saucepan combine milk and flour, stirring to dissolve flour. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until smooth and thick. Add cheese stir until melted. Reduce heat to lowest setting keep sauce warm.
Cook chicken in skillet until brown on both sides, remove chicken. Add remaining ingredients bring to a boil for 6 minutes or until liquid is reduced by half, add to cheese sauce and stir until thoroughly combined.
Pour sauce over chicken, if desired broil until cheese is melted and lightly browned 1 to 2 minutes.
Serve over rice.
