Chili with Sausage Recipe

1 lb. ground italian sausage
1 medium diced onion
1 small diced green pepper
2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
27oz kidney beans
1 can (14oz) diced tomatoes
1 can (15oz) tomato sauce
3/4 cup water

In large skillet cook sausage and onion until done. Drain off excess drippings. Blend in seasoning and green peppers to sausage mixture. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes. Garnish with green onions and shredded cheese, if desired.
