Nelson Demille / Plum Island
I was looking for a good book to read while doing cardio. Nothing makes cardio sessions fly faster than getting lost in a good book.
I picked up Plum island because the forward on the cover sounded interesting.
This reviews contains spoilers. If you don't want to know how the book turns out, stop reading here.
This is the first Nelson Demille book I have read. Having read a lot of Dan Brown and Lawrence Sanders books, I must say I don not like the writing style of Nelson Demille.
It takse way to long for the book to get interesting even then only mildly so.
The story meanders back and forth and when you get to the end and discover it was all about buried treasure, you fell a little cheated.
I did not enjoy this book at all and probably won't read another Nelson Demille book again. |
