I purchased this Guitar as part of the BC Rich Monsters of Metal Kit for less the $300.00. It came with the Guitar, which normally retails for just under 300, a practice amp, case, extra strings, strap and tuner. The stings are worthless. Buy some good Boomer or Fatties.

Out of the box, the guitar played well. But, once I re strung it with some quality strings, this baby lit up. It produces a clean rich tone and the string action is low to the fret board so you can quickly move between strings. You can even play all the way into the 24th fret with no problem and it sounds very good.

The practice amp came with the metal overdrive effect which just so so. Once I hooked the amp up to a Korg effects board, it really sounded great for a practice amp.

This guitar is fun and easy to play and really sounds good. I could only imagine what a more expensive guitar must sound like because this baby sounds pretty darn good as it is.

Only down side was the plug for the chord and the on guitar effect switch were loose. I had to tighten those up to keep them from wobbling around.

I would recommend this guitar for beginners and advanced players alike. It really sound great!
